Representative Springer Takes Oath of Office for Second Time in Texas State House

Austin, TX — State Representative Drew Springer was inaugurated for the second time Tuesday, January 13th, alongside 149 other colleagues. “I want to thank my family and friends who travelled down to Austin to accompany me on such a special day. For a second time, I am truly humbled to continue to represent House District 68 and the people build and feed Texas.”

The 84th session will last 140 days and focus mainly on transportation, education, water and border issues.  “I look forward to continue the focus on how to improve liberty and freedom. The ‘one-size fits all’ policy used in urban city politics does not work for my constituents and I will continue the fight to strengthen rural Texas.”

“Keeping economic development accountable, defending the 2nd amendment and freeing rural Texans from burdensome state regulation are my three major initiatives. I look forward to committee assignments in the near future and advancing my bills to best protect the liberty of Rural Texans.”

Representative Springer’s new capitol office is located in E2.410. Please feel free to call Rep. Springer or his staff at (512) 463-0526.
